The Sekiz Oğuz (Old Turkic: 𐰾𐰚𐰔:𐰆𐰍𐰔; Middle Mongol: ᠨᠠᠶᠢᠮᠠᠨ; Mongolian: Найман) were a Turkic-speaking tribe or tribal confederation that inhabited Inner-Asia from Late Antiquity to Medieval times. They were known to the Mongols as the Nayman or "eight."
