Alqabölük (Alkaboluk)
The Alqabölük (Qaraxan: اَلْقابُلُكْ; Turkish: Alkaevli; Azerbaijani: Ağevli; Turkmen: Agöýli) are an Oğuz sub-tribe of the Bozok branch’s Gün division.
Etymology
The first component of their name, alqa, is a metaphysis of aqla- “to whiten.” The second component, bölük, means “division,” often in the organizational sense.
